Operating under the moniker Whistle Dude, local dark wizard Gottschalk attempts to morph from evil cartoonist and trad signpainter to a lighter, fresher “Chill-bro Baggins” type of guy that just makes whistles and zines sometimes. Though physically, he remains a slinking spectral hare, Gottschalk has become, in essence, what some have described as a soft humming light, a prismatic rainbow wisp, a puff of silky rippling vapor.
