Each bar is 3" in diameter and approx 1" depth. Jim's handcrafted soap stays solid for the long haul.
Over 12 years ago Jim Skowbo, a Moab native, began making biodiesel to power his diesel truck. What does this have to do with soap? While researching the chemical process of biodiesel, Jim found that people were making soap with the byproducts, but that seemed a bit gross. So he filed the idea away until a couple years later when his wife was on a mission to remove undesirable chemicals in their home. This motivated him to revisit the idea of soap making. After exploring old recipes and new information, the first bars were produced. He made batch after batch searching for the best combinations of oils and natural ingredients to create the perfect bar of soap. One that has ample sudsy lather, a balance of tough cleansing and gentle moisturizing, and no fake scents or colors. With that, Jim's Soap was born.
